MFL has provided a budget in Excel format for use by you and your friends. A personal budget is an important tool for planning your finances as well as being useful for getting your loan approved quickly.
Our personal budget will help you analyse your income and spending for a 12 month period. It has sections for: home; living; transport; entertainment; health; and personal expenses allowing you to calculate your spare cash after day-to-day expenses.
Once you have calculated your surplus cash the budget then goes on to let you plan your discretionary spending on things like holidays, saving and investment. You can also enter your starting bank balance and analyse how much it will increase over a year.
